lack of money stops severely burned boys treatment

De behandeling van de zwaarverbrande Zhang Junhua (12) wordt stopgezet. Zijn ouders hebben immers geen geld meer om de hoge ziekhuisfactuur te betalen.
This boy was put on fire by a mentally ill person 3 years ago. While he was sleeping, the man came into his room, poured gasoline over the boy and set him on fire. His father was woken up at 2 am by the horrifying screams of pain. They had to pour 10 buckets of water on him before the fire was out.

He barely survived. The next 6 months Junhua fought for his life. In that period he got  16 heavy surgeries. The fire glued his chest and chin to each other. His arms were melted on his chest and his legs were totally twisted. He is also unable to close his eyes.

During the first 6 months after the event, his parents payed about 55.000 euro on hospital bills. All their savings went to the boys treatment. The remaining money they could lend from their friends. But now the money is out and the hospital refuses to treat the boy any longer.

His parents are desperate.

This is what happens in a system that does not give a shit about life, and which revolves around money and profit. When you have money, your in heaven. You can have all the food you want,  and all the clothing and items you want, warm house, docters, dentists etc... But when you dont have money, you are in hell. You starve, you suffer and have no voice.

It is about time we recognize what is happening around us, which system we are contributing to each day. It is time to open our eyes and see the true nature of our system.
This is exactly what we want to stop with the Equal money system. We want everyone to be treated as an equal, equal in worth. All living beings have a beating heart, every part of existence is part of life in their own expression. It is fucked up that children are suffering because of having no money, that people are starving to death and the majority struggles to survive. We can have another world, another system, that takes care of all. We have to learn to care again, to want to do something for another without thinking about how much it will earn you, without thinking about "what's in it for me". Fuck that shit. Is anyone getting any happier? No. In fact, depression are rising. More people are getting to the poor side instead of the rich.
But the rich know that all the people of the world cant live like them. We don't have enough trees, enough powerplants, enough resources for the entire world population to live like them. Exploiting life, taking much more than you need. Polluting and not giving a shit. Imagine the entire population living like that... Damn.
Thats why the elite knows only a small group can live like that, the rest has to consume and produce for them. Having enough working sheep to provide for all the products, many useless products, that people are made to desire through commercials and socialisation. Products that are not the highest quality, so they brake down fast and people have to replace it soon, spend money, more production that way etc... To keep the profit flowing in. Because where else is the profit going to come from?

Oh crazy fucked up world...
What the hell are we doing.

Animal friendLIE

You may be one of those people who try to do their best to live a good life, to be a good person, to buy fairtrade and animal friendly products. But if one day you find out that your "animal friendly" products are not friendly at all... would you care? I mean really care, not just say "ooo nooo thats horrible", but wanting to actually start working on a change to stop this continuous abuse?

There have been new revelations from the meat industry. Secret footage was shot from 26 Dutch pig farms, showing sick, crippled and dead pigs.

Some of that footage comes from stables who got branded "animal friendly". And this is exposed now, but think about the hundreds of unrevealed cases all over the world with all kinds of products where a form of abuse is allowed to create those products. In this case, it are not products though, it are living beings like you and I.
Despite  the brands and initiatives from the last couple of years to improve the situation in the meat industry, there is no animal friendly meat yet.  Some people really don't care and say that it tastes nice, as the main argument. But what if you mother tasted nice on a bbq, does that mean people should eat her?

Animals are living beings, who live just as much as you do, who breath and eat and are part of this world. It doesn't mean that because they live in another form, that therefor they are inferior. We have a habbit of placing ourselves as superior and backing this up by our own reasons. Like the nazi's did with their reasons why the jews had to die. Or with the apartheid regime in South Africa. People make up all kinds of reasons to be able to place themselves on top and abuse others.

And none of this abuse will end, as long as this system keeps creating humans able to do such abuse, which programs human beings to follow their ego, their desires, to buy what the coorporations want them to buy, to be what the system wants them to be. And as long as the nr 1 goal of this system is money/profit, things wont get better. Things will change but there will always be abuse. Yet it doesn't have to be this way! We at Equal Money are working on the change together, and anyone can be part of it. It is easy to sit on our lazy asses and think about the world just "being the way it is supposed to be". Therefor you gotta start using your brains and look around you, within you, and in this world. Things are not just the way they are by random chance. There are reasons behind it. And the effects are clear as well.

If you want to end animal cruelty, you will have to stop the very system which creates the inferior/superior judgements. Else we will keep spinning around, forever feeling bad for the abuse, while it never ends. Donating and donating, while it keeps being created at the same time. A never ending circle.

A bigger holocaust than Hitlers

When I heard about the holocaust for the first time, it was insane to realise this had actually happened. I couldn't believe anyone would do that to other human beings. Killing and abusing so many beings, while the public turned a blind eye. And I never considered that such a thing could happen again.
But after some years I realized ... this has been happening al along! The entire time!

It shocked me that we do not even see this, we do not see what is around is as if we are wearing a blindfold all day long. Maybe we are to busy living inside of our minds and being pre-occupied with survival to really realise what kind of system we are living in. I was also amazed that I hadn't seen this and that they never taught this to us in school. But then again, school is a government institution. It will never do anything that may compromise the status quo, unless you have some teachers going against the grain here and there.
Also there was nothing about it in the news. No, it was "disguised", loose ends, in bits and pieces. To make it seem like there was no connection , like it are the "everyday normal things" that are simply part of life. But I realised after a while that media, is a profit driven industry. Profit sets the tone of the news, money is more important than life. Thus that says enough about the news quality dont you think.
Who are then the real criminals in this world? The ones who activly destroy, corrupt, manipulate, deceive, abuse etc... or the ones standing by, blindfolded, not doing anything and following in line? I see it as a circle where we are all responsible. It is not because you believe yourself to be less responsible, that you in fact are. Because you are not, even though it is very easy to believe that because it gives you an excuse why not to do anything about it.

The profit driven system, the money war, kills more people than Hitler ever could.
How amazing that we have been blind for this, just like the german population seemed blind. People are slowly but surely WAKING THE FUCK UP.

Our media would idealy provide us with useful and true information that creates and promotes a healthy true democracy. But as we can see, it doesn't because it exists to generate profit. And the few independant media sources, are kept unknown and unseen because they dont drive on profit. It is like: the bigger and the more competitive and abusive you are, the more popular and rich you get.
The commercial media generally makes their money from advertising, the advertiseren pay to place their ads in publications that reach big number of people, and especially those with the most money. In effect, the media creates shows, articles, news etc... that attract the biggest and wealthiest audience. It is to generate the money for the advertisers.

Often controversial issues are ignored to keep advertisers and corporations happy. Entire segments of our population are ignored or misrepresented, because they are simply not a target market for advertisers.
TV networkers rely on superficial, gossip provoking, violent or sexually explicit programming to get the most attention, the most viewers, and get the highest rating.

News becomes like any other source of profit. Where costs have to be cut and the quality reduces in order to gain more profit.

“If anyone said we were in the radio business, it wouldn’t be someone from our company. We’re not in the business of providing news and information. We’re not in the business of providing well-researched music. We’re simply in the business of selling our customers products.”

Lowry Mays, CEO of radio giant Clear Channel Communications

If you haven't been able to figure out the holocaust connection for yourself yet, I will give a few hints:
-Every year 15 million children die of hunger.
-Slaughter of farmed animals for food increased to more than 50 BILLION individuals in 2003 (and by now it is probably higher)

-Millions die each years from wars faught because of money

The holocaust is not over people, it has never been. The holocaust has simply been used as an example of evil, while evil is still being allowed and continues every day. To deny the holocaust is a crime in many countries, which you can go to jail for, but we can remain blind to the every day reality of the abuse and suffering all over the world because of the system that we allow to exist? That places profit over life? Why does no one goes to jail for that?
BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT.

The following is the full text of the speech delivered by Cuban President Fidel Castro at the Palace of Nations in Geneva on the occasion of the presentation to him of the Health for All Medal by the World Health Organization, Thursday, May 14, 1998.

Your excellencies, officials of the WHO, distinguished delegates.

All praise to the World Health Organization, which together with UNICEF, has helped to save the lives of hundreds of millions of children and millions of mothers, which has relieved the suffering and saved the lives of many more millions of human beings.

These two institutions -- together with the Food and Agriculture Organization, the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the World Food Program, the United Nations Population Fund, UNESCO, and other organizations so bitterly opposed by those who would like to erase from the face of the earth the noble ideas which inspired the creation of the United Nations - - have made a decisive contribution to the establishment of a universal awareness of the serious problems of the world today and the great challenges which we have before us.

According to the calculations of renowned economists, the world economy grew six-fold and the production of wealth and services grew from less than five trillion to more than twenty-nine trillion dollars between 1950 and 1997. Why then is it still the case that each year, 12 million children under five years of age die -- that is to say 33,000 per day -- of whom the overwhelming majority could be saved?

Nowhere in the world, in no act of genocide, in no war, are so many people killed per minute, per hour and per day as those who are killed by hunger and poverty on our planet -- 53 years after the creation of the United Nations.

The children who die and could be saved are almost 100% poor and of those who survive, we must ask why 500,000 are left blind every year for lack of a simple vitamin which costs less than a pack of cigarettes per year?

Why are 200 million children under five years of age undernourished?

Why are there 250 million children and adolescents working? Why do 110 million not attend primary school and 275 million fail to attend secondary school?

Why do two million girls become prostitutes each year?

Why in this world -- which already produces almost 30 trillion dollars worth of goods and services per year -- do one billion 300 million human beings live in absolute poverty, receiving less than a dollar a day -- when there are those who receive more than a million dollars a day?

Why do 800 million lack the most basic health services?

How much is a human life worth? It is really sad to think that just in the area of maternal and post-natal services, in spite of the efforts of the WHO and UNICEF over the last 50 years, the number of deaths from lack of medical services has been 600 million children and 25 million mothers who could have survived. That would have required a more rational and more just world.

In that same post-war period, in the area of military expenditure, 30 trillion dollars were spent. According to UN estimates, the cost of providing universal access to basic health care services would be 25 billion dollars per year -- just three percent of the 800 billion dollars which are currently devoted to military expenditure -- and this after the end of the Cold War.

There is no let up in arms sales, which have the sole purpose of killing, while the medicines which should be provided to save lives become increasingly expensive. The market in medicines in 1995 reached 280 billion dollars. The developed countries, with 14.6% of the world's population -- 824 million inhabitants -- consume 82% of the medicines. The rest of the world -- 4 billion 815 million people -- consume only 18%.

Who can save our species? The blind, uncontrollable law of the market?

Lets change this!
